Dance Coach

nursery and primary-aged children

, using dance to build confidence, coordination, creativity, and a love for movement.

As a Dance Coach with Youth Sports Development, you will deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate dance sessions in a safe and supportive environment. You'll play a key role in helping young children develop physically, socially, and emotionally through creative movement and dance.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, fun, and age-appropriate

dance sessions

for nursery and primary-aged children Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to express themselves Adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and positive behaviour Monitor children's progress and provide positive, constructive, and age-appropriate feedback Represent

Requirements

Experience delivering dance or movement sessions to

nursery or primary-aged children

(schools, nurseries, clubs, or similar settings) A good understanding of child development, safeguarding, and age-appropriate teaching practices Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire young children Good organisational skills and the ability to plan creative and structured sessions A

full UK driving licence

and access to a vehicle An

up-to-date enhanced DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one) A

valid First Aid certificate

is desirable A recognised dance qualification, coaching qualification, or relevant experience is desirable Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays when required A passion for dance and a commitment to helping children enjoy being active and creative
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
