Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles including Jazz, Ballet and Acro genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans for 4-14yrs, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their dance skills while promoting creativity and self-expression. RAD and ISTD knowledge would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver structured dance lessons tailored to different skill levels and age groups. Teach various dance styles, ensuring students understand techniques, choreography, and performance skills. Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Organise and participate in dance performances, competitions, or showcases as required. Maintain a clean and safe studio environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition. Collaborate with other instructors to develop innovative teaching methods and curriculum improvements.

Experience

Previous experience as a dance instructor or Teacher Training is desirable. Proficiency in multiple dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop) is an advantage. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages and other team members. A passion for dance and teaching, with the ability to inspire others. A qualification in dance education is required. DBS required or can be applied for, Driving License an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour
