Job Summary:

The Village School of Dance is a thriving dance school in Wimbledon and is looking for an Acro dance teacher. This would be for one of our 3 locations in central Wimbledon with on a Wednesday. This is a fantastic chance to become a part of a lovely school with lots of other opportunities including holiday camps, events and increasing hours. Experience in teaching ballet/tap/modern is preferable but not a requirement. Acro dance qualification ideally in Acrobatic Arts and experience in teaching it is required. Would also LOVE someone with Cheerleading experience as we are looking to introduce this to our timetable!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and teaching various dance styles to students of all ages and skill levels.
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students
- Instruct students in Acro dance technique and performance
- Create choreography for performances, recitals, and competitions
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and performance
- Organise and supervise rehearsals to ensure dancers are prepared for upcoming events
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different dance styles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Certification in dance or relevant field is desirable

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 20.73-25.00 per hour
