Job Title: After-School Dance Teacher (Primary)

Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Dance Teacher to lead engaging after-school dance classes for primary school students. The ideal candidate will foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can explore movement, develop coordination, and build confidence through dance.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate dance lessons for students aged 6-11 years.
Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through movement activities.
Prepare students for small showcases or end-of-term performances when applicable.
Ensure a safe and supportive class environment by monitoring student behavior and maintaining discipline.
Communicate with parents, guardians, and program staff about student progress and participation.
Set up and pack away equipment as needed.
Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience teaching dance to children in a school or community setting.
Knowledge of child development and ability to adapt lessons for mixed-ability groups.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Energetic, patient, and passionate about inspiring a love for dance.
Dance-related qualification or certification preferred.]
