About Us

Ashley Hamilton Dance Company (AHDC) is one of Melton Mowbray's fastest-growing performing arts schools, with 120+ students, 30+ weekly classes, regular shows, workshops, and community events. We've just moved into our brand-new studio -- a purpose-built 18m x 15m space with professional flooring, mirrors, and waiting areas -- and we're now looking to expand our teaching team!

The Role

We are seeking a passionate Dance Teacher to join our supportive, energetic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced teacher who is enthusiastic about sharing their love of dance and Musical Theatre with young people.

Responsibilities

Teach group dance classes across a range of ages and abilities (children, young people, and potentially adults). Deliver engaging lessons in dance and Musical Theatre (experience in additional styles such as Street, Acro, Ballet & Tap, Contemporary, or Gymnastics is a bonus). Prepare students for shows, workshops, and performances. Ensure a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment. Work collaboratively with the AHDC team to deliver our exciting timetable and events.
Requirements

Experience in dance, Musical Theatre, and working with children. Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS. Availability to teach evenings and weekends. Reliable, enthusiastic, and matches the positive AHDC team vibe.
