Job Summary:



The role reports directly to the Quality Manager, working to ensure the business, its products and packaging are always compliant with industry, regulatory and legislative requirements. Alongside this, you will work hand in hand with our customers on all necessary documentation and submissions as required throughout the year ensuring they can maintain their compliance within their given deadlines.


The role also requires you to work with suppliers directly in a number of key areas on new and existing projects, to work on creating and updating internal procedures and processes in line with the QMS requirements, data gathering and analysis, and being the owner of the Quality email inbox.


This will be an on site, office based role where excellent communication and high levels of accuracy are vital, alongside the ability to structure your workload effectively whilst meeting deadlines.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:



Obtain and maintain product & packaging technical data from suppliers, to be stored and maintained using SAP and other Information Management Systems. Own the Quality email inbox and distribute emails as required to the relevant and correct team members. Ensure all new and existing projects, products and suppliers are fully conforming to industry, regulatory, legislative and customer requirements at all times. Serve all customer Quality needs as required and on time. Gather data, analyse data and submit data on various customer, 3 party and government platforms ensuring absolute accuracy at all times. Track, assess, capture and log internal feedback and liaise with suppliers on new project samples. Generate, send and complete NCR's with suppliers as needed, and generate SRC's for the recouperation of incurred costs for hib. Own, maintain, improve, update and generate master documents, procedures and processes within the QMS Master Document List in line with the strategy of being ISO9001 approved in the next 5 years. Maintain and update monthly KPI data including analysis of results. Generate reports using data and analysis for presentation to suppliers and/or customers. Conduct risk assessments on new and existing products and projects to ensure products are safe and fit for purpose.

Requirements:

A strong ability to read, understand and deliver the requirements of local, national and international standards and legislations. A good understanding/experience of dealing with product concerns within a structured process, working collaboratively with suppliers. A good understanding/experience of the requirements of Quality policies, procedures, processes and product specification and able to produce them in clear, concise formats. Be confident working with web based platforms and portals. The ability to form and maintain good relationships with suppliers and colleagues. The ability to analyse and process data to produce reports and metrics. Confidence in working with Microsoft Office software, aswell as MRP and WMS systems. PowerBI knowledge/experience would be highly beneficial. Must be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy in their work, the ability to hit deadlines under pressure, excellent organization, a methodical way of working and have excellent communication skills.
