Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL and Python, with the ability to utilise tools such as Visio for effective data visualisation.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies. Design and maintain databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scopes. Develop and implement data models that support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Utilise SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant information for analysis. Employ Python for data manipulation and automation of repetitive tasks. Create visual representations of data using Visio to enhance understanding of complex datasets. Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of database design principles. Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management. Familiarity with Python programming for data analysis tasks. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with Visio or similar tools for creating data flow diagrams and visual aids. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to vaticinate trends based on historical data analysis. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
