We're looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to help us make a difference to our planet.


As our Senior Data Analyst, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.


Our opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week, but we would also consider applicants wishing to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and we will also try our best to consider those intending to work a job share. Your world of expertise




The role will be to lead data analysis within the internal audit team and to support the Associate Director for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (AD:OCEO) by providing business insight.

Your key duties

:



+ Enhancing assurance by working with the team of internal auditors analysing whole data sets. + Advising the Head of Internal Audit with maturing the approach to data analytics within the internal audit team.
+ Supporting the Head of Internal Audit with analysis of annual questionnaires completed by Directors, providing insights for the Chief Executive Officer's annual governance statement.
+ Supporting the AD:OCEO with initiatives as required.

As our Senior Data Analyst, your total reward package will be up to 62,019 annually, which includes:

41,725 base pay An outstanding Civil Service pension, with an average employer contribution of 28.97% Recruitment Retention Allowance (RRA) you will be paid 3,600 per annum as a market supplement to reflect the demand for your skills. Whilst in post, you will be paid this market driven allowance from April 2024 until March 2026 in your monthly pay Annual Leave starting at 27.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) rising to 32.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 5 years and option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year of annual leave

Proven track record applying tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation.

Demonstrate expert knowledge of identifying, collecting and migrating data to and from a range of systems. (

Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret complex and imperfect data sets from the business, assessing the quality of the data received and identifying and implementing tools to support data validation and cleansing.

Strong team working and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to deliver relevant and timely reporting up to an executive level audience.
