Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of business analysis principles. This role involves working with various data sources to extract insights that drive decision-making and improve business processes. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and provide actionable recommendations.

Duties



Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives. Utilise tools such as Power BI to create visually appealing and informative reports for stakeholders. Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal structure for data retrieval and reporting. Collaborate with teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure data requirements are met. Employ Bash Unix shell scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks. Use R for statistical analysis and predictive modelling to forecast future trends. Create process documentation using Visio to illustrate workflows and data flows. Engage in business analysis activities to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Vaticinate potential challenges in data management and propose solutions proactively.

Qualifications



Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of database design principles. Proficiency in using analytical tools such as Power BI, R, and Bash Unix shell scripting. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to vaticinate potential issues before they arise. Experience in business analysis is a plus, enabling effective collaboration with various teams.
