Job Description

We're looking for a multifaceted Data Analyst to join our dynamic data team. Does your profile fit our needs for this role: we're seeking a hybrid data professional who can blend advanced analytics, business intelligence development, and strategic thinking , with a strong passion for data literacy, community-building across the organisation, and an eye for design and user experience that enhances the accessibility and effectiveness of our data tools. It's not a typical reporting role.

You'll be directly reporting to the Chief Data Officer and will be instrumental in shaping how data is accessed, understood, and used -- from developing dashboards in Power BI , to establishing data governance best practices, to nurturing a company-wide data culture. What You Will Bring

Proficiency in Power BI , SQL , and data modelling techniques.

Experience in data quality management , data visualisation , and dashboard design/UX and optimisation . Candidates are expected to present their portfolios of dashboards created, showcasing their ability to visualize data and extract meaningful insights. This presentation should include examples of how their dashboards have driven decision-making and improved business processes.

Strong communication skills - able to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Proven ability to collaborate across teams, understanding business needs and aligning data solutions accordingly

Natural community-builder - thrives on mentoring, sharing knowledge, and fostering innovation

(Bonus) Familiarity in Snowflake

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field Key Responsibilities Business Intelligence & Reporting

Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver real business impact

Integrate and manage diverse data sources , ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, and scalability

Oversee the implementation of BI initiatives to support data-informed decision-making across departments Data Architecture & Process Optimisation

Define and refine, in coordination with the Data Engineer, semantic data models, workflows, and governance practices

Establish and promote data quality and operational excellence through best practices and process improvements Data Community & Literacy Development

Help grow an internal data community to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing

Champion data literacy initiatives, training stakeholders on effective data usage and storytelling
