We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes by providing comprehensive analyses and reports that drive business strategies.
Duties
Conduct thorough data analysis using tools such as SQL, R, and Python to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to present data in an accessible format for stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives through effective business analysis.
Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by contributing to database design and ensuring data integrity throughout the development process.
Utilise project management skills to oversee data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery of results while adhering to quality standards.
Create detailed documentation using Visio for data processes, workflows, and system designs to facilitate understanding among team members.
Implement automation solutions using VBA and Bash (Unix shell) to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency in data handling.
Qualifications
Proficiency in SQL, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) is highly desirable.
Experience in database design and management is advantageous.
Excellent project management abilities with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
