Are you a seasoned data analytics professional with an inquisitive mindset and passion for learning? Do you have second to none stakeholder management experience, data analytics, architecture, pipelining and a good knowledge of data management and governance? If so this rare opportunity as a Data and Analytics Specialist could be the one for you. You will work as part of the global Business Intelligence and Analytics function and take ownership for delivering insights and data-driven products, scoping and producing end-to-end, high quality and high impact analytics to aid decision making across the business.

What you will be doing:




Interface directly with business stakeholders, assess needs and analyse data to provide actionable insights. Identify, refine and prioritise analytics use cases and requirements. Scope new roadmap items to deliver, shaping their business case and understanding their value for SHL. Identify the data required to deliver them, building efficient data pipelines to ingest additional data if necessary. Ensure new data is developed to a high standard, tested and shared with the team. Design dashboards to visualise the data, iterating in an agile way to produce insight reports that aid users in either operational activities, strategic reporting or other data-driven tasks. Become an authority on certain data domains, taking ownership of a set of reports and insights for business users, while collaborating with the Business Intelligence team and sharing best practice. Build robust end-to-end data products based on strategic semantic layers, balancing speed of delivery and the need for scalable and reliable data engineering Champion an organisation-wide data culture



What we are looking for from you:



Essential:


Data visualisation experience (Tableau or similar) SQL and relational data architecture experience Data pipeline and ETL/ELT development Data management and governance Inquisitive mindset and excellent stakeholder management



Desirable:



Machine Learning and statistics Experience in agile delivery
