Data Cable Engineer

What You'll Be Doing:

Installing, terminating, and testing structured network cabling (Cat5e to Cat7). Installing and testing fibre cabling, including fusion splicing. Handling CW1308 multi-pair voice installation and testing. Ensuring all work adheres to

Health & Safety standards

and company quality procedures. Coordinating with

clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

to ensure seamless project delivery. Managing workload effectively and producing necessary reports. Assisting within the

Fire & Security Department

as required. Supporting project growth through system upgrades and service expansions.

What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in

structured network cabling installation

(Cat5e to Cat7). Expertise in

fibre optic cabling

, fusion splicing, and testing. Background in

CW1308 multi-pair voice installation and testing

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Effective communication and leadership skills. Experience in the

construction industry

. Valid

ECS Card

. Health & Safety training.

Desirable Qualifications:

City & Guilds (Electrotechnical Level 3) or equivalent. Supervisory experience. IPAF & PASMA Certification
