We are seeking an experienced

Lead Data Cabling Engineer

to join our growing team, delivering structured cabling systems across commercial and industrial construction sites nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone confident leading on-site installations, managing small teams or subcontractors, and liaising with site management to deliver high-quality, standards-compliant work.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading and overseeing structured cabling installs (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7, fibre) on active construction sites, Schools and Hospitals. Pulling, terminating, testing, and labelling structured cabling systems Working closely with site managers and project leads to meet deadlines Ensuring installation standards and health & safety protocols are met Mentoring junior engineers or trainees as needed Traveling to job sites across the UK

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience leading structured data cabling projects on construction sites Strong knowledge of Cat5e through Cat7 cabling, fibre optics, containment, and patching Comfortable working independently and managing small teams CSCS card

(mandatory)

SSSTS qualification

(advantageous but not essential)

Full UK driving licence and

own transport (mandatory)

Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious
