As part of the VW UK ICT Data Team, the ICT Data Engineer is accountable to deliver data infrastructure for connecting various IT Systems on premise or on cloud. The data is utilised by different functions within the business, including ICT infrastructure for the assurance of data loss prevention, migration teams, and data analysts for effective reporting back to key business stakeholders.

Based in any Volker Wessels UK location, and reporting to the Data Architect, this role requires an individual who is technically an expert in data pipeline design, data pipeline engineering (coding), data pipeline maintenance, and data warehouse development. This role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear and concise communication skills.

About you

• At least 3 years of experience as Data Engineer in Azure environment for medium/ large organisation.
• Preferable to have Azure qualifications/ certifications for data engineering.
• Master\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in relevant subjects, or the equivalent on-the-job experience/ professional certification.
• Experience of Construction Industry is desirable.
