We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead data and reporting activities for the in preparation for the implementation of a new Adult Social Care management system in May 2026.
This role will ensure a seamless transition to a new data warehouse environment, and customer-focused business intelligence service delivery model.
You will bring expertise in SQL Server databases, ETL processes and data model design, along with a proven track record of data engineering within a healthcare or social care environment. A strong focus on delivering high-quality, secure, and accessible data services is essential to support informed decision-making and operational excellence across the organisation.

Collaborate with Information and service leads to understand service needs and translate them into data solutions
Develop and execute a comprehensive data infrastructure migration strategy for migration and decommissioning of legacy infrastructure
Identify and test methods for robust, scalable, and efficient cross organisation data transfer
Provide hands-on technical guidance to reporting workstream leads
Implement processes to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data workflows in the new infrastructure
Catalogue existing data sources currently warehoused
Set-up and configure a new data warehouse solution for adult social care reporting addressing including networking, security, and access controls
Define roles and responsibilities for data access and usage
Validate and transform data during migration to conform data to reporting and insights
