As Data Governance Lead, you will establish and oversee SEPA's data governance framework, ensuring that data is managed well, trusted by stakeholders, and compliant with organisational and regulatory requirements. You will:


Define and implement SEPA's data operating model and governance framework. Develop and maintain organisation-wide data policies, standards and procedures. Partner with stakeholders to establish clear data ownership and stewardship. Chair SEPA's data governance and management groups. Ensure operational controls are in place to manage data risks. Drive the delivery and continuous improvement of metadata, data quality and master data management capabilities. Lead data literacy and enablement initiatives.

This is a highly important role within our Governance, Performance & Engagement portfolio, which means you'll need:


Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Proven ability to work with business data owners and stewards to embed governance and improve data literacy. Experience defining and applying data policies, standards, processes and risk controls. Strong knowledge of data governance and management frameworks (e.g. DAMA, DCAM). Deep understanding of data cataloguing, metadata, master data and data quality practices. Hands-on experience of governance tools (e.g. Purview, Profisee, Collibra, Informatica, or similar).
