About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Governance professional to design and implement our comprehensive data governance framework. You'll ensure our data assets are managed with complete integrity, security, and strategic value whilst collaborating with teams across the organisation to establish industry-leading best practices.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead from the front

- Design, develop, and enforce data governance policies and frameworks organisation-wide

Drive Master Data Management (MDM)

initiatives, ensuring exceptional data consistency, quality, and reliability

Create comprehensive policies

- Write and review data management procedures and guidelines that set the standard

Be the expert

- Serve as our go-to subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to stakeholders at all levels

Shape our tech stack

- Collaborate on selecting, implementing, and optimising cutting-edge data management software and tools

Ensure compliance

- Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards to keep us ahead of the curve

Own the data lifecycle

- Manage organisational data from creation to retirement through robust policies

Drive continuous improvement

- Assess and enhance our data governance practices to maintain competitive advantage

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

Proven track record in Master Data Management (MDM) and enterprise data governance initiatives Demonstrated success in drafting and implementing data governance policies and procedures Strong credentials in data governance with relevant certifications or specialist training Technical expertise in deploying and integrating new data management software platforms Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Proven ability to work independently and successfully lead cross-functional teams

Highly Desirable:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field Professional certification in Data Governance, Data Management, or related disciplines (

DAMA, DCAM,

etc.) Experience in regulated environments or sectors with strict data compliance requirements
