About the Role
As our Data Infrastructure and Integration Specialist, you will lead the design and hands-on delivery of data architecture and integration services that connect operational systems, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools. You'll contribute to the development of complex data products by applying modern data engineering practices that ensure high-quality, reliable data is readily available for a range of use cases. You'll be responsible for building and optimising complex data pipelines, while also supporting and mentoring team members to write efficient, high-performance code. A strong communicator, you'll translate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and help shape decisions that drive meaningful outcomes across the organisation.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the University's data strategy, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient data solutions that support decision-making and innovation. Acting as a key advisor, you will influence how data is governed, integrated, and visualised across the organisation, while driving adoption of modern cloud technologies and best practices.
What You Can Bring
You bring deep technical expertise in data platforms, cloud services (especially Microsoft Azure), and integration technologies. With a strong track record in enterprise environments, you are confident designing modern data solutions, mentoring others, and translating complex requirements into robust, scalable systems. Your ability to collaborate, innovate, and communicate across technical and non-technical teams makes you a key driver of data excellence.
