The Role
Join Capco's Data Strategy & Advisory team as a Data Management Consultant. You'll support the design, implementation, and embedment of data management capabilities that underpin critical decision-making for global financial institutions. From policies to tooling, your work will enable the delivery of fit-for-purpose data in complex transformation environments.
What You'll Do
Support development of data management frameworks including policies, standards and procedures
Deliver data governance practices: metadata cataloguing, lineage, stewardship and data quality monitoring
Deploy and configure data tooling (e.g. Collibra, Solidatus, Ataccama) based on business needs
Facilitate solution design and rollout of new data management platforms
Contribute to thought leadership, internal methodologies and data capability building
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Management or Data Analytics
Strong knowledge of data management methodologies (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC)
Experience implementing or enhancing metadata, DQ or lineage processes
Hands-on experience with data tooling (e.g. Talend, Collibra, Ataccama)
Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
Bonus Points For
Consulting experience or a change role within a Financial Services Chief Data Office
Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, BCBS-239, or Consumer Duty
Formal certification in data governance or data management
Experience managing small teams and projects
