Integra Insurance Solutions Ltd are an MGA based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, offering homeowner insurance products, specialist insurance schemes cover, as well as church and commercial insurance.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Pricing & Analytics Team as a Data & MI Analyst

.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the required competencies to fulfil the role requirements.

Main Role



Have a deep understanding of all data sources and develop a good knowledge of data in an insurance context. Maintain datasets ensuring their accuracy, working with IT to raise and fix errors if found. Perform in-depth checks of the data and automate this where possible. Build high-quality and accurate Pricing MI dashboards using tools such as Power BI and/or Python, focusing on documentation, efficiency and automation where applicable. Understand and analyse the outputs from these reports and report findings to the rest of the business, relating the analysis back to the insurance market. Support the Analytics & Pricing function by understanding the team's data needs, providing outputs and solutions to meet these needs.

Technical

Highly proficient in the use of software languages (SQL/R/Python) to manipulate and analyse insurance data Excellent knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Microsoft applications and computer systems, particularly in the context of automating tasks Degree in a Mathematics / data science / data analytics subject, or relevant work experience in these fields
Soft Skills

Flexible & adaptable team player Willingness to learn the insurance market and be receptive to guidance and peer review Pro-active in ensuring that outputs are accurate and free from error Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to maintain good working relationships with staff in key internal teams (e.g. IT, Underwriting)

Open to innovative and creative thinking, sharing knowledge of new techniques and software packages.

Pay: 33,000.00-43,000.00 per year
