Company Description

Xeinadin was established in 2019 when a number of leading business advisory and accountancy practices across the UK and Ireland came together to re-imagine the future of accountancy. Our collective mission to provide locally forged, trusted business advice to SMEs through forward-thinking, close-knit relationships remains pivotal to our growth. It's our people who drive our business forward, and we offer them future-focused career opportunities whilst supporting individual specialisms. Our regional offices of over 2500 colleagues operate collaboratively, combining collective expertise to maximise potential.

Description

You will play a vital supporting role in the successful migration of data as part of Xeinadin's ongoing systems transformation projects. Working closely with Practice & Change Managers and local office teams, this role focuses on the practical aspects of data cleansing, validation, and coordination prior to practice management system migrations.

This is an administrative, hands-on role suitable for someone with a strong eye for detail, confidence working with spreadsheets and data files, and the interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple offices across the firm. The role reports centrally into the Director - Practice & Change Management, based in Manchester, while being deployed regionally to provide support on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with multiple regional offices to assess the current state of data within their practice management systems.

- Map data fields, understand data interdependencies, and identify areas requiring data cleansing.

- Provide support with the data cleansing activities (formatting etc).

- Prepare data exports and assist in applying standardised formatting and data validation checks.

- Flag inconsistencies, incomplete records, or potential duplicates to the Practice & Change Manager for resolution.

- Update data tracking logs to reflect cleansing progress and outstanding issues.

- Recommend improvements or standardisation opportunities based on data assessments across offices.

- Ensure consistency of field usage and naming conventions to support firm-wide reporting and compliance.

Office Engagement and Administration

- Liaise directly with office teams to guide them through basic data cleansing tasks and answer process-related queries.

- Provide administrative support for scheduling local workshops, training sessions, or data review meetings.

- Maintain checklists and documentation to ensure consistency across different offices and regions.

- Assist in the collation and preparation of data files required for upload or migration to new practice management platforms.

- Carry out pre-migration and post-migration checks against control lists to ensure completeness and accuracy.

- Escalate any data-related risks or blockers to the Practice & Change Manager or central project team.

Key Requirements

- Previous administrative or data-handling experience, ideally in a professional services environment.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and document outcomes.

- Confident using Microsoft Excel and working with data files (e.g., spreadsheets, exports from practice systems).

Additional Requirements

- Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work across both technical and non-technical teams.

- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines in a project environment.

- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

- Experience working in a multi-site or regional environment desirable but not essential.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (or similar collaboration tools), with the ability to:

o Upload, structure, and manage content in a clear and user-friendly way.

o Apply version control and basic permissions to documents.

o Create pages, lists, or dashboards to support process guidance and project communication.
