The Role:
The Data Platform Delivery Lead provides technical and delivery leadership for the design, development and implementation of the University's enterprise data platform and associated data solutions. This role is accountable for the successful end-to-end delivery of a modern, scalable and cost-efficient data platform that underpins key institutional priorities including strategic reporting, student retention, employability, widening participation, and statutory returns (e.g. HESA, TEF, NSS).
The role will champion continuous improvement in data delivery practices, embedding governance, performance monitoring and quality assurance frameworks to ensure the data warehouse continues to evolve to meet future institutional needs.
Location:
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth one day a week, hybrid remote working is available for this role.
Interview date:
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held week commencing 8 December 2025.
Fixed term wording:
This appointment is a fixed-term contract from 5 January 2026 - 5 July 2027.
