Are you passionate about driving innovation through data? At Collinson, we are on the lookout for a Data Platform Manager to lead the strategic development, operational excellence, and evolution of our data platform and integrated data marketplace.


In this key role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering data products that create real value for our clients and the business. You will play a key part in turning data into actionable insights, enhancing decision-making, and supporting Collinson's growth through data-driven strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


Platform Development & Management

Oversee the design and operation of a robust, scalable data platform. Define and execute a strategic roadmap to deliver high-value data products.

Data Marketplace Integration

Lead the integration and evolution of the data marketplace to align with market and tech trends. Maximise platform impact within the wider digital ecosystem.

Product Innovation

Identify market opportunities and lead the development of innovative data products. Translate client and business needs into practical, value-driven data solutions.

Delivery & Reliability

Ensure on-time, high-performance delivery of data platform initiatives. Apply best practices in CI/CD and platform operations.

Collaboration & Communication

Work cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, product, and business teams. Clearly communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Manage and negotiate with third-party vendors to ensure value and alignment. Ensure strong relationships that support platform goals and business strategy.

Compliance & Governance

Uphold high standards in data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Project & People Leadership

Lead and deliver projects on time and within budget. Mentor and coach team members, cultivating an innovative and collaborative culture.

What we are looking for:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in data platform management, data product development, and marketplace strategy. Strong technical background in modern data architectures (SQL, NoSQL, Snowflake, Kafka, AWS). Deep knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy. Agile project management and team leadership experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
