Location: Office based 20-40% in either Old Trafford, Manchester or Stratford, London.

Salary: Manchester 23,000 - 27,000pa and London 25,000 - 29,000pa dependant on experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subject access requests, ensuring legal deadlines are met and data is redacted and exemptions applied in line with the Data Protection Act 2018. They will be the contact for internal and external customers, and other stakeholders for their own workload. They will Support the Data Protection Officer and Deputy Data Protection Officer in delivering compliance in line with the Data Protection Act 2018.

Specific responsibilities will include; Receiving and acknowledging subject access requests, locating and compiling the documentation, redacting data in line with the Data Protection Act 2018, responding to the customer, responding to general data protection related queries.



In order to be successful in this post you will need:
Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018

Strong experience in a data protection role

Strong experience managing and responding to subject access requests

Strong administrative experience in a fast paced environment

To be meticulous and have a keen eye for detail

The ability to multi task, manage own workload and meet tight deadlines

Strong organisational and planning skills

Good communication skills across various disciplines; phone, email, letter etc

Experience of dealing with stakeholders at different levels

The ability to work collaboratively within and across teams

Experience of using MS Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
