Role Overview




The Data & Reporting Analyst plays a vital operational and analytical role, supporting the Head of Business Insight & Analytics and helping to build strong data culture across the organisation.


You will assist with data collection, cleaning, reporting, and visualisationensuring all departments have access to meaningful, reliable information. You will help build and refine datasets, support the development of Power BI reporting, and champion improvements in data quality. In addition, you will support operational duties where required and contribute to patient-focused activities to develop a well-rounded understanding of the business.


This is initially a hybrid role, transitioning to a full-time office-based position in Summer 2026. It combines analytical responsibilities with operational exposure, enabling you to develop a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy workflows, patient journeys, and system processes while actively contributing to digital transformation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



Data & Insights Support



Collect, clean, validate, and organise datasets to maintain accuracy and reliability. Build basic Power BI reports and visual summaries using verified datasets. Support dataset refinement as systems evolve (Magento and others). Assist in trend analysis, variance analysis, and KPI monitoring. Maintain reporting logs, dashboards, and data tracking templates. Prepare draft reports and visuals for senior review.

Data Literacy & Internal Support



Act as a liaison between operational teams and the analytics function. Support colleagues in understanding data collection and validation processes. Provide informal guidance on Power BI navigation. Encourage consistent, data-driven practice across all departments.

Information Security & Compliance Support



Monitor routine data handling practices to ensure alignment with policy and SOPs. Process user access requests following established procedures. Maintain access logs and support regular user-access reviews. Assist in documentation for audits and compliance (GDPR/data protection). Escalate data integrity concerns promptly.

Market, Research & Performance Monitoring



Conduct desk research to gather competitor, industry, or trend insights. Assist in producing summary reports for management review. Support tracking and monitoring of performance metrics.

Operational & Administrative Support



Learn pharmacy workflows for contextual understanding. Assist with maintaining accurate digital records and operational documentation. Contribute to process improvement discussions with practical observations. Support stock accuracy and general organisational duties where required.

What Were Looking For



Essential



Minimum 5 years experience in data analysis, reporting, digital systems, or a similar role. Strong computer literacy, including Excel and basic analytics tools. Experience working with datasets, dashboards, or BI outputs. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Proven ability to interpret data and present findings clearly. Basic understanding of GDPR and data protection principles. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Curious, proactive, and solution-focused approach. Experience with Power BI Desktop.

Desirable



Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, logistics, or similar environments. Customer service or cross-team communication experience.
