Location: Cambridge, CB2/ Hybrid

Contract: Permanent; 35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to apply their skills in the growing field of People Analytics.

As a Data Scientist specialising in People Analytics, you\'ll join a team that\'s passionate about driving evidence-based decision-making in People and Culture, and our wider business. You\'ll work with varied data sets and use diverse techniques to provide insights to a wide range of stakeholders.

About the role

Working alongside colleagues in the People Analytics team, and wider People and Culture team, you\'ll use your data science skills to deliver actionable insights to shape our products and services.

You\'ll also:

  • Design and conduct analytic and data science projects and communicate findings to key stakeholders across the business
  • Create data pipelines by structuring, cleaning, validating, and joining data from multiple sources
  • Take the lead in developing the use of Generative AI in People and Culture
  • Support the creation, optimisation, support, and maintenance of a portfolio of analytic and machine learning services
  • Help develop and upskill other members of the team
About you

You\'ll have a relevant MSc degree or equivalent qualification, or other evidence of equivalent knowledge and experience.

You\'ll also have the following skills:
  • Advanced coding in Python, R, SQL or similar
  • Machine learning and / or statistical analysis and / or natural language processing and / or data engineering, drawing on a range of simple and advanced methods and techniques in line with best practice
  • Ability to translate of business challenges and opportunities into data science problems and solutions
  • Clear communication of technical information to specialists and non-specialists
