We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist will be responsible for utilizing your analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyse, and interpret large data sets to develop data-driven solutions for optimising processes, improving data management, and enhancing customer experience. You will have a \'can do\' attitude who can hit the ground running and be a successful contributor to a rapidly growing company. Job Summary: To have a deep understanding of AI-driven optimisation techniques and use this knowledge to improve product information accuracy and customer satisfaction whilst working with the business to identify ways to streamline operations, ensuring increased efficiency, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Review and Analysis:

  • Work with Middle Managers to identify current data management systems and operational procedures that AI can improve. Serve as liaison between stakeholders and project teams, delivering feedback and enabling team members to make necessary changes
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for potential improvement
  • Understand customer challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions
  • Benchmark current performance metrics and set targets for optimisation
  • Work with SLS group lead to liaise on best-practice and AI benchmarking across SLS group
AI Model Development & Integration:
  • Develop, train, and deploy AI models tailored to address specific inefficiencies identified in the review process
  • Collaborate with the IT and Data teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing platforms and databases
Operational Procedure Enhancement:
  • Use AI insights to redefine operational procedures and workflows, ensuring alignment with best practices and business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine these improved procedures
Monitoring & Iteration:
  • Regularly monitor the performance of AI solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed established benchmarks
  • Continually refine AI models based on performance metrics and feedback from internal stakeholders
Training & Collaboration:
  • Provide training to teams and stakeholders on new AI-driven procedures and tools.
  • Foster collaboration and engagement between teams to ensure the smooth rollout and adoption of AI-driven improvements
Staying Updated:
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data management technologies
  • Provide feedback to group contacts on our AI activities
  • Undertake training courses that will continue the development of the role and appreciation of AI advances
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have:
  • Certifications in relevant AI or data management methodologies. .
