A hands on role leading & co-ordinating the day-to-day activities of a team of data engineers.


Ensuring efficient delivery of TFSUKs curated data. Actively participating in the prioritisation of work, projects & pipeline management. Supporting and contribution to the development of team members and the function, to deliver first class data solutions.


A very technical role, this position would be a great opportunity for an experienced Developer who would like to move into a managerial / team lead role.


This is a hands on position, where you will be required to be advanced in all areas of the following:


High level SQL Oracle databases Must have strong ETL experience to extract, transform and load Experienced in carrying out Data Integration / ETL Data transformation Very strong Excel - Macros, V/X look-ups, Pivot Tables Experience / Knowledge of SFTP and API (Application Programming Interfaces) Someone who is also able to analyse outside of SQL Someone who can motivate and challenge the team

Responsibilities:



Working under the supervision of the Senior Manager - Data Services & BI, you will deliver TFSUK's data warehouse, key projects and reporting needs, responsible for the following:

Line management of team of experienced Data Engineers Workload management [changes / break fix / testing / releases] Work with Manager, BI Manager and 'Bus. Tech' to prioritise work Develop high-quality data & data warehousing solutions Working with DPO & ISO to protect TFSUK /customers data Ensures compliance with corporate standards / best practice

Experience:



Essential:



SQL / Oracle ETL / Informatica Data Warehouse methodology Power BI Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable:



Financial Services or Motor Experience Consumer Duty (Highly desirable) Regulated industry People management experiences Additional data skills (Python / APIs)
