Overview


We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems, ensuring high availability and performance. You will play a crucial role in database design, implementation, and optimisation.

Duties



Manage and update the company website and e-commerce platform, including product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing. Develop and publish content for company social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), ensuring engagement with target communities. Administer internal databases relating to inventory, suppliers, and sales analytics; monitor data accuracy and integrity. Generate regular reports on online sales, customer engagement, and digital marketing performance. Ensure website functionality, liaising with external IT providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Monitor data security, backups, and system performance to protect business and customer information. Research and recommend new digital tools, content strategies, and online marketing approaches to grow the business.

Experience



Proven experience in database administration with a strong understanding of MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and related technologies. Familiarity with high availability solutions and disaster recovery strategies. Experience in database design principles and best practices. Proficiency in performance tuning techniques for optimising query execution. Knowledge of Linux operating systems is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Pay: 36,400.00-38,700.00 per year
