37 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Database Co-ordinator to join our Compliance & Safety team in a permanent position. In this varied role, you will support officers to deliver an effective and efficient service to the Council and our tenants. When working in the office, you will be based at Castle House in Newark Town Centre.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responsibility for updating the compliance databases.
  • Assisting in coordinating the compliance testing and servicing programmes
  • Assisting in identifying the performance of individual assets and properties
  • Assisting in developing short and long-term investment plans
  • Ensuring that asset management systems and other data sources including the Asset Management Database, the programmed works systems, the asbestos register, and vulnerability data are maintained and continually updated for effective business use.
  • Providing direct support to the wider Housing Maintenance and Asset Management Business Unit. working very closely with the Compliance Surveyors and with links into the Councils central IT function.
The successful candidate will have A-C/9-4 grades in GCSE English and Mathematics, or equivalent, and be comfortable using IT systems. You\'ll have demonstrable experience of working in an office environment and be competent at managing and analysing data in Excel.
