Datacentre, Infrastructure & Networks Pre-Sales Solution Architect
Location: Hybrid (mix of office, client site and home working)
120,000 - 150,000 + total OTE 200,000
We are looking for a Datacentre, Infrastructure & Networks Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you'll design and articulate on-premise, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructure and networking solutions that address client needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and competitiveness. You'll work closely with colleagues across sales, delivery, and engineering, applying your technical expertise alongside strong communication and presentation skills to create compelling proposals that inspire clients and win business.
What You'll Do

• Design with purpose: Develop secure, scalable, and future-ready infrastructure and networking solutions tailored to client needs.

• Stay ahead: Maintain strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies-compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation-and apply them creatively to deliver client outcomes.

• Engage and inspire: Build trusted client relationships, listen actively to challenges, and clearly communicate value.

• Craft compelling proposals: Contribute to bids with technical documentation, architecture visuals, and cost models that balance innovation and practicality.

• Champion compliance: Ensure solutions meet UK government regulations and security standards, including GDPR and NCSC guidelines.

• Collaborate: Work across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions from design to delivery.

• Proven experience designing infrastructure and networking solutions, including virtualisation and software-defined technologies.

• A strong background in pre-sales, with experience producing engaging technical documentation and cost models.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple, accessible language.

• A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a passion for teamwork and inclusion.
