UC Pre-Sales Solution Architect





Location:

National - based out of any SCC office. London, Bracknell, Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)





Contract Type:

Permanent





Salary Package:

Competitive based salary

9.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday - Friday

Role purpose:


This role will support the growth plan of SCC / Resonate in the collaboration space, the role is to provide pre sales support and also when required architecture and delivery support.

Key responsibilities:



Pre Sales

:

Pre- sales technical support, including producing requirements, high level designs and detailed sales Support the sales team technically and work alongside service, account and delivery teams acting as Technical design Authority Produce customers presentations demonstrating capability based on core products and at times tailored bespoke solutions Execute Demo's where required Writing technical proposals Producing costs and pricing specifications for customer proposals Being part of Bid Team and supporting major bids Technically represent SCC / Resonate in front of the customer and their 3rd parties Pursue additional sales opportunities alongside the Service and Account teams for existing customers and attend Quarterly Reviews for accounts where you have a major input Attend and organise innovation sessions for customers - help them develop the UC strategy



Architecture



Responsible for detailed designs and implementations of Unified Communications solutions, focussed primarily in the voice area; voice platform and contact centre Obtaining approvals to designs from customer and internal teams Producing and implementing configurations (inc Testing & turn up ) PoCs and Pilots Taking a principle role in major technical issues during the project lifecycle Handover to support teams and technical knowledge share Provide technical governance and peer review of other colleague's work Chair a Technical Review Board when required




Product



Provide product feedback on our solutions to the product team From time to time work with product to modify or update existing product documentation From time to time assist product team in new product development; design, test, document



Skills and experience:



This role will require excellent technical experience of:

Microsoft Teams

Audio Codes / Ribbon SBCs / SBA

Call Centre technologies based on MS UC technologies such as Anywhere 365, Luware and others

Call Centre technologies based on Cisco would be preferable and willingness to train on these

Preferably knowledge of IP Hard phone endpoints such as Poly


The role will require good working knowledge of:

Networking (including WAN / LAN)

Traditional voice technologies and features

O365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and other O365 areas)

Preferably knowledge of Video integration with MS UC technologies


Have knowledge and practical experience of working with telecommunications carriers and PBX suppliers Good knowledge of the Telecommunication market Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication in technical English, and strong influencing and networking skills. Logical thinker able to trouble shoot systematically Ability to coordinate other technical specialists, strong teamwork skills as well as able to work under own initiative when required Demonstrates tenacity and resolve in pursuing critical outcomes. Patience, resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure, Can do attitude, focused on meeting deadlines and on high quality deliverables. Exhibit leadership through personal responsibility, accountability and teamwork
