The
Role
We are looking for a candidate with a background in datacentre operations. Primarily based in our Northwest London datacentre, the successful candidate will manage the installations and maintenance of equipment in multiple datacentre sites in London and across surrounding areas. The nature of this role means that the successful candidate must hold a UK driving license and have access to their own car.
Typical Job duties would include:
TCP/IP Troubleshooting.
Ticket management.
Hot/cold isle containment.
Emergency call out and out of hours work.
Project and design management.
We're looking for someone
with previous experience in
:
Complex cable management
Racking and patching of servers and switches.
Supporting various hardware and peripherals.
3+ years' previous Datacentre experience.
Working to own initiative and managing workloads.
Fibre Optics and Transceivers.
We're also looking for candidates with:
Strong research, writing and communication skills.
Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Desire to travel and see the world.
Ability to work independently and manage your own projects in a professional manner.
A passion for innovation and the financial technology sector.
Project management skills and proven ability to manage own workload.
Certifications:
Cisco and/or Microsoft qualifications are desirable but not essential.
