Day Care Assistant - 14.23/hr - Moulton, Northampton

We're looking for caring and reliable Day Care Assistants to support a 44-year-old male with complex health needs in his own home in Moulton. This is a rewarding role that combines clinical care with social support, helping the client live independently and access work and community life. Full training is provided--including specialist clinical skills such as tracheostomy care and ventilation.

o 12-hour day shifts (7:30 AM - 7:30 PM)

o Alternating rota: 2 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next (set schedule)

About the Role:

You'll work closely with the client and family to provide both personal and clinical care, as well as practical support for daily activities such as work attendance. This is a varied and fulfilling role in a supportive home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

o Daytime monitoring and care

o Personal care and hygiene

o Medication administration (after training)

o Use of mobility and medical equipment

o Assisting client in accessing work and the community

o Record-keeping and reporting

Who We're Looking For:

o Kind, patient, and reliable individuals

o Comfortable with pets (friendly dog and cat in the home)

o Willing to learn and take on new clinical skills

o Able to support both medical and social needs

o Must be eligible to work in the UK

o Valid manual driving licence essential

o Flexibility to cover occasional sickness and annual leave

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential--we value a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help.
