are looking for a

Day Care Assistant & Driver

to join our wonderful team!

Do you have a genuine passion for dogs and a desire to work in a fun, active, and rewarding environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team and help us deliver the very best care for our canine clients, and an excellent experience for the humans too!

As part of our team, you'll engage with dogs and their owners every day, providing safe transport, expert handling, training, and exceptional care. Your energy, organisation, and love for dogs will help create a positive, enriching atmosphere for all the pups in our care.

Day Care Duties



Organising dogs into suitable groups, monitoring their health and behaviour, and managing their exercise, training, rest, and play. Undertake training sessions to work on desired behaviours. Walk dogs in small groups and lead breed-specific activities. Carry out basic grooming to ensure dogs return home clean. Prepare and serve meals for dogs and manage their belongings. Ensuring the welfare and safety of all dogs is a priority at all times.

Collection & Delivery



Drive company vehicles safely at all times. Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and clean, completing regular inspections. Ensure dogs are comfortable and secure during transport. Manage clients' keys responsibly and maintain confidentiality at all times. Represent the company professionally when driving and engaging with clients.

Customer Service



Maintain an expert understanding of our service, providing advice and support. Capture high-quality photos and videos for client updates and social media. Send detailed updates describing each dog's activities and training progress. Identify opportunities to promote our brand and services.

General Duties



Maintain cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standard. Complete daily setup tasks, preparing the centre for arrivals.

Person Specification



Previous experience working with dogs and a genuine love for animals. Excellent time management, initiative, and attention to detail. Friendly, engaging, and energetic personality. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to change. Confident handling and caring for various dog breeds. Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in all aspects of work. Comfortable driving small vans. A full, clean UK driving licence is required.

Please Note



Applicants must be a minimum age of 21 to drive company vehicles, applicants under 21 may still be considered for a Day Care Assistant role if available. The starting salary is minimum wage, however this is reviewed following the successful completion of a 3 month probation period.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
