The Role
We are seeking an
enthusiastic
and
creative Day Centre Coordinator
to lead and deliver a varied programme of activities that
supports clients' wellbeing, independence, and quality of life
. In this part-time role you will oversee the smooth running of day-to-day operations, support staff and clients, and ensure a
welcoming, engaging, and safe environment
. The position requires excellent
organisational skills, strong communication
, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Core hours are 6 hours on Fridays,
with an
additional 4 flexible hours
throughout the week, offering a balance of structure and flexibility while
making a meaningful difference
in the lives of those we support.
Key Requirements
Aged
18 or over
Full driving licence
and access to your
own vehicle
No sponsorship
required
This role involves working with vulnerable adults and is subject to an
enhanced DBS check
and
satisfactory references.
Main Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and deliver
engaging weekly activity programmes
Create
activity planners tailored to individual needs,
including dementia support
Maintain
accurate care plans, risk assessments, consultations, reviews and daily records
Encourage
social interaction and
mental stimulation
Provide
emotional support and
companionship
Lead and support
a small team
Promote
Radfield Day Centre within the
local community
Celebrate
seasonal, cultural, and national events in an
inclusive way
Ensure the day centre operates in line with
CQC standards, policies, and procedures
Promote
safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care
at all times
About You
You are

Experience in a
similar role
Experience working with people
living with dementia
