We are seeking a passionate and dedicated level 2 Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our care. The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in fostering children's learning through play, exploration, and structured activities.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-11 years.
Drive the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on delivering high-quality childcare.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the ability to manage diverse needs effectively.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences while ensuring their safety and well-being.
A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early years education.

About the role - 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm. Including split shifts and working with children in our nursery, pre school and out of school & holiday club. Pay scale dependant on Qualifications, age and experience
