You will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, leading a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care and education in line with the
EYFS and Ofsted requirements
. We are looking for someone with vision, passion, and strong leadership skills who is ready to take ownership and move the setting forward.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and manage the nursery team to deliver high-quality Early Years practice
Ensure full compliance with the
EYFS statutory framework
and
Ofsted standards
Drive continuous improvement and quality outcomes for children
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, and staff suitability
Manage staffing, ratios, recruitment, and performance
Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the nursery
Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections with confidence
About You
You will be a
confident and passionate leader
who thrives in a setting where your ideas and leadership will truly matter.
Essential:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5/6 desirable)
A minimum of two previous experience as a Nursery Manager
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children
Desirable:
Experience leading change or improvement within a setting
Paediatric First Aid qualification
Management or leadership qualification
Experience of leading OFSTED inspections
