Day Nursery Team Member Required
Job Description
We have a position avaliable in our nursery for someone who is either:
An unqualifed person / qualifed person or an apprentice.
Our children are looking for a fun, firm but fair person to help guide them through their day with exciting learning activities in our indoor and outdoor environments.
Paperwork is minimal so lots more time to spend with the children and really help them move on in their next steps (qualified only)
We have a nature garden as well as playground where a lot of the children's learning takes place.
The child move to different rooms for certain activities (art, small world etc) so they benefit from not being in one room all day - a benefit for staff also!
A curriculum which all staff contribute to and is based on now and next events around the world.
If you have completed your level 2, 3, 4 or 5 you will have insight into how to implement the EYFS and observe children in their play otherwise we can train you.
The staff at Bears work 4 days or 3 days a week 745am - 615pm. (15 minutes either side of opening and closing are paid so cleaning/sorting can be done)
The nursery is closed on a Friday.

You will be required to have or complete an enhanced DBS, 2 references will be needed and you will be interviewed in line with safer recruitment to ensure staff working with our children are safe to do so through the checks we complete.

12.50 per hour - unqualified
13.00 per hour (newly qualified within 2 years)
13.75 (after 2 years)
14.00 Level 4 or 5
Holiday entitlement increases after 2 years
