Summary



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Day Services Manager to join our team at Linkage Community Trust. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities



Provide support to individuals with learning disabilities in a person-centered manner. Assess the health needs of the people we support and develop tailored care plans and risk assessments where necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for the people we support. Maintain accurate records of care and achievements of the people we support. Ensure that all colleagues build great relationships with the people we support and the people who are important in their lives (families, other staff, and external professionals). Know their skills, interests, qualities, strengths, ways of communicating and aspirations and ensure the individualised service they receive plays to their strengths; helps them overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Actively lead the team's development by coaching and training colleagues in person centered and positive behavior support practices, appraisals and supervision, giving and acting on received feedback; management of risks of the individual(s) they support through understanding what is important to the individual(s), involving their families, wherever possible, and ensuring decisions are accurately recorded. Ensuring performance standards are evidenced and quality is upheld in everything that the teams do in complying with relevant CQC, contractual and Linkage standards, outcomes and procedures

Requirements



Safeguarding qualification at level 3, and a Management qualification at level 5 preferred. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate nature with a commitment to promoting independence for clients.
