Ripon Community Link, based at the beautiful Ripon Walled Garden, is a highly respected and vibrant local charity dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, connected, and meaningful lives. We are looking for an experienced, driven and passionate individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as
Day Services Manager
This is a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, person-centered day services. You will lead on safeguarding, service development, staff management, fee negotiations, and positive behaviour support. You'll also drive community engagement and the recruitment of new service users to ensure long-term sustainability.
We are seeking someone with strong values, leadership experience in adult social care, teaching or health, and a commitment to enabling people to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of high quality, person centred day services
As Designated Safeguarding Lead, champion Safeguarding embedding a strong safeguarding culture
Support, lead and guide a passionate staff team including recruitment, development and line management
Plan and develop an appropriate skills mix across the service
Lead on Member recruitment and promotion of the service
Implement and oversee Positive Behaviour Support
Work with the CEO on contracting, fee negotiation, and budgeting
Build relationships with families, commissioners, and partners
What You'll Bring:
Leadership experience in adult social care, ideally with learning disabilities
Knowledge of safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, and PBS
Experience in managing contracts, staff teams, and service quality
Passion for inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred care
Have a Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
