StudyBox is a tuition centre, specialising in Maths, English and Science.

To be eligible for an interview you must:

Have a 7, 8 or a 9 in English and Maths at GCSE Have studied Maths or English at A level Live locally to Sutton SM1 2SW Have availability from 12:30pm-3pm from Monday to Thursday

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daytime Tutor to support students in achieving academic success, particularly in English and Maths GCSE preparation. In this role, you'll create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored tutoring sessions during daytime hours, with a focus on the core GCSE subjects Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) Track student progress, identify learning goals, and provide regular feedback to students and parents Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages academic and personal development
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with school-aged children A strong understanding of the UK curriculum, especially GCSE-level content Develop personalised lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles Experience or training in working with children with SEN is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference
