JD for DB2 DBA
Mandatory Skills: Db2 LUW.
Experience: 5-8 Years
1. Good experience or knowledge in migrating Databases from AIX to LINUX using different methods.
2. Good knowledge on Q replication.
3. Strong hands-on with
HP-UX OS administration
as it relates to DB2 deployments.3. Expertise in setting up and managing HADR with multiple standbys.
4. Capturing real workloads from the Source database and replaying in the Target database for testing the workloads to right-size the DB2 VMs.
5. Excellent knowledge on DB2 Process and Memory Architecture.
6. Expertise on performance tuning of the Databases using different DBM, Database configuration parameters and registry variables.
7. Good experience in data movement utilities like db2move,Export,Import and Load.
8. Good experience on DB2 Federation.
9. Good experience in understanding complex Shell scripts and automating the routine tasks.
10.Good experience in performing DB2 Restores and Redirected restores in non-DPF and DPF setups. (DPF - Multi-partition Database partitioning database).
11. Excellent knowledge and good experience in managing DB2 DPF systems.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 200.00-250.00 per day
Work Location: In person
