Debt Collection & Accounts Administrator (part Time, 3 Days Per Week)

Job Description

We're looking for an organised and proactive

Debt Collection & Accounts Administrator

to join our friendly finance team three days a week.

The

main focus of this role

is to

chase clients to settle their accounts regularly and professionally

, keeping everything organised and up to date. You'll take ownership of the process -- diarising follow-ups, tracking communications, and making sure no balance slips through the net.

What you'll be doing



Proactively

chasing clients for payment

and maintaining a clear diary of follow-ups. Sending

client statements

and checking that all

sales invoices

are entered correctly. Sorting invoices for posting or sending via the right

branch office templates

. Monitoring accounts with

ongoing queries

and following up where responses are pending. Dealing with

incoming client queries

about reminders and statements. Sending polite acknowledgements to clients when payments are received.

Reconciling client accounts

and posting recharges. Updating

Xero

with client notes and communications.

What we're looking for



Experience in

credit control, accounts receivable, or accounts administration

. Excellent organisation skills and a methodical approach to follow-ups. Confident, professional communication style. Experience using

Xero

(or similar accounting software) is a plus. Able to manage workload effectively across part-time hours.

Flexible Working



Our

core hours

are

10am-12pm

and

2pm-4pm

, Monday to Friday.
Outside these, you can work the hours that suit you between

8am and 6pm

.
