Were working in partnership with a respected regional law firm with a long-standing presence in the North West, currently looking to recruit an experienced legal professional to join their busy and growing Debt Recovery team in Bury.The Firm

Their litigation team is highly regarded for its pragmatic, cost-effective solutions and strong repeat client base across commercial and private sectors.The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled debt recovery specialist to take ownership of a well-established caseload and play a key role in the teams continued growth. Youll work closely with clients ranging from SMEs to larger commercial entities, managing pre-legal and litigated debt matters through to enforcement.Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling a varied caseload of debt recovery matters, both pre-action and litigated
• Drafting letters before action, claim forms, and statutory demands
• Negotiating settlements and repayment terms
• Advising clients on recovery strategy and enforcement options
• Attending court where necessary (support can be provided for advocacy if needed)
• Supporting the business development and marketing of the teams services

About You

• A minimum of 5 years experience in debt recovery or commercial litigation
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and enforcement processes
• Excellent client care skills and commercial awareness
• Highly organised and able to manage files independently
• Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Experience with bulk debt recovery or volume instructions is desirable but not essential
