We are looking for enthusiastic, organised, and motivated individuals to work in our Cardiff and Newport practices.
This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Working within the decontamination department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services by providing sterilised instruments required by the clinical dental team.
Duties:
Conduct thorough decontamination and cleaning of medical equipment, instruments, and workspaces.
Operate sterilisation and disinfection equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with health regulations.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning processes and equipment checks.
Ensure cleanliness and compliance across all assigned facilities.
Conduct routine checks on equipment as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Perform routine daily testing of decontamination equipment and ensure its safe operation.
Report any equipment issues to management.
Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as required.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies.
