Clifton Moor Dental Practice is in the middle of relocating to a state-of-the-art wellness facility, which puts the employees at the fore front of their priority.

The facility houses a large staff wing on the first floor which includes a gym/yoga room, state of the art kitchen, Large changing rooms and shower rooms.

We provide a range of general and specialist dental care such as oral surgery, sedation, Implants, orthodontics and Aesthetics along with many more treatment's.

The Role

We are seeking a cheerful, outgoing Decontamination Technician to join our team at Clifton Moor Dental Centre. The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dental team, Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the efficiency of our practice.

Provide essential decontamination support to our dedicated Dental Team. Take ownership of the daily operations within the decontamination room, ensuring a smooth workflow. Contribute to the overall efficiency and seamless functioning of our dental services.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough decontamination of dental instruments and equipment, strictly adhering to our service quality system, policies, procedures, and relevant guidelines. Utilize the washer disinfector, ultrasonic bath, and autoclaves for the effective cleaning of dental instruments. Conduct routine daily equipment tests to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, and promptly arrange for any necessary repairs. Pouch and package decontaminated dental instruments according to HTM 01-05 guidelines. Assist in the efficient collection and return of dental equipment to its designated storage areas. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of COSHH regulations, particularly concerning hazardous cleaning chemicals, ensuring safe handling and storage

Requirements & Skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Strong skills in prioritizing tasks to meet demands. Capacity to maintain composure and perform effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and organizational skills A proactive attitude with the drive to support the team and improve processes.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
