We're looking for a Decorating Studio Assistant to join our friendly and creative retail team in the Emma Bridgewater Decorating Studio.

About the Role

As a Decorating Studio Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our Decorating Studio experience, helping customers of all ages bring their pottery to life. From personalised gifts and family keepsakes to baby handprints and artistic creations, you'll make every visit memorable.

You'll be a brand ambassador for Emma Bridgewater -- embodying our warmth, creativity, and passion for quality -- while supporting the day-to-day running of our busy, welcoming studio.

What You'll Do

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and inspired

Guide customers through their creative journey, offering help and encouragement along the way

Keep the studio tidy, organised, and well-stocked with all materials and pottery ware

Assist with the preparation and sorting of pottery pieces and supplies

Support the Studio Team with all daily operations and administrative tasks

Handle till and card payments accurately and confidently

Help manage online bookings and respond to customer enquiries

Uphold the Emma Bridgewater brand personality - friendly, artistic, and approachable in everything you do

About You

A creative, artistic, or design-minded person who enjoys working with people

Warm, confident, and engaging - you make others feel comfortable and inspired

Organised, reliable, and great at managing your time

A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Previous customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, or creative workshops)

Comfortable using POS till systems; experience with an online booking system is a bonus

A background or interest in Art, Design, or Craft is desirable but not essential - enthusiasm and creativity matter most!

Expected hours

: 24 hours per week, any 3 days out of 7.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.24 per hour
