Delegated Authority Analyst - About the role

My Lloyd\xe2\x80\x99s Syndicate client are looking for an experienced individual to join their team providing support to delegated authority and broker management.

This is a varied role across various classes of business and territories. The DA team is based within the Compliance function and you will work closely with the business including with Underwriters. It will suit someone who can self-manage and be adaptable to a fast moving and changing operating environment.

There will also be opportunities to support the wider compliance team on a number of issues including sanctions screening, financial crime assessment, complaints and regulatory reporting.

Delegated Authority Analyst - Key duties

Key responsibilities include: the end to end administration of onboarding and due diligence of coverholders, brokers and DCAs and related Atlas tasks; associated internal monitoring and reporting; and coordination and scoping of coverholder and DCA audits.

Coverholder and DCA onboarding, due diligence review and audit scoping.

Coverholder and DCA performance monitoring and management reporting.

Liaising with our cyber vulnerability assessment partner to understand the profile of our delegated authorities for Operational Resilience.

Broker onboarding reviews and annual assessments.

TOBA issuance.

Lloyd\xe2\x80\x99s Atlas tasks.

Conduct risk and Fair Value assessments and monitoring.

Attendance at market presentations on behalf of the team.

Delegated Authority Analyst - Key requirements

Good understanding of Lloyd\xe2\x80\x99s requirements for delegated underwriting arrangements

2-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Lloyd\xe2\x80\x99s / London Market Insurance in a delegated authority, compliance or audit capacity

Familiarity with Lloyd\xe2\x80\x99s systems Atlas, DAM, DCOM and Crystal

Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook & Word)

Ability to develop relationships and deal confidently with various internal and external parties.
